Orange You Excited for California Rainbow 2022?
By: Grace Z., Grand Religion and Rep. AL/GA/NC, Redwood City
Hello California Rainbow! My name is Grace Z., and I am your Grand Religion and Representative to Alabama, Georgia, and North Carolina. I am very grateful for the opportunity to serve you this year.
Initiated into Redwood City Assembly in December of 2014, my first office was Nature. From there, I frequented Chaplain however, since my assembly was small I often served as Worthy Advisor proxy before officially going up the line. My favorite Rainbow activities include Northern Camp, Service OVs, and Christmas service projects with my Assembly. I have been a part of the Grand Choir and enjoy participating in the Grand Assembly art contest. My favorite thing about Rainbow is seeing my members genuinely engage with those we help and the effect it has on them. It’s amazing and motivating for me to see how the girls of my assembly grow through service to others.
When the dress and jewels are off, I am studying to be a mechanical engineer or practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. My hobbies include watching and creating films, watching anime, and traveling. I like handwritten letters and picnics at sunset. As a barista, I dislike both Starbucks and Dutch Bros, but I would love to bond over boba with you. I am looking forward to meeting everyone and please know you are more than welcome to visit Redwood City Assembly . . . or just tune in for the after-meeting video games.
Lastly, I would like to thank everyone who has supported me on my Rainbow journey so far, especially my Assembly, our sister Assembly, the District, and our local Masonic Lodges. Also thank you to everyone who has also shared their enthusiasm for the upcoming term. I cannot wait to work with all the Milestone Making Meerkats of 2022!
Today in physics I learned we are just probabilities. We are made of atoms and they are made of protons and neutrons. However, electrons are in clouds of probability surrounding electrons.
