What does the Publicity & Communications Team do? We promote California Rainbow EVERYWHERE so that people recognize us as an organization they can trust and want to be involved in.We primarily highlight our values of leadership, service, and sisterhood through photos, videos, and words to show people who we are. We work to promote Rainbow both on a state-wide level through things like social media, news outlets, our website, and our podcast, as well as design and provide materials assembly’s to use in their local area.
Our Vision: For California Rainbow to be recognized and celebrated statewide as a premier girl's organization that promotes leadership, service, and sisterhood.
Our Mission: To promote California Rainbow and inspire the public to join us by utilizing easily recognized, high-quality, and consistent design in publicity, marketing, and communication tools that present the values and benefits of our organization.

An easy to use complete tool kit that guides your assembly through publicity opportunities and suggestions month by month! Also a great place to start when implementing a publicity plan for your assembly!
A brand is a recognizable product offered by a company, identified by its look, feel, values, and what it offers. Rainbow is our brand, identified by our logos, colors, design, public opinion, the values and fundamentals we represent, and what we offer members: Leadership, Service, and Sisterhood.
Use Starbucks as an example. When you think of them, you expect to see the same siren logo, the same shade of green, the same font on their menu, the same drink quality, and the same customer service no matter which location you visit. They have spent many years cultivating their brand so that even the wordless logo brings your favorite iced coffee to mind. This is our ultimate goal for California Rainbow! If we work together using the brand guides, continually representing Rainbow with the same colors, logo, quality, and values, people will come to know our brand! While you can certainly have fun designing event flyers such as Installation invitations, we ask that any CAIORG materials advertising Rainbow to the public use our templates whenever possible and that you utilize our brand guide when designing new materials so we can work together for this goal of brand recognition!"

- PeachJar is a company that emails flyers to parents through your local school rather than physical flyers handed out at school. The cost is approximately $40 per school. The flyers also stay on their website/digital billboard. A GREAT way to get the word out for your open house!

- Patch is an online local newspaper that has many communities. A free and easy place to write articles about Rainbow in your community! Click "Find your Town" to get started.

The Publicity and Communication Team sometimes reaches out to assemblies for training, news and more. Typically the Worthy Associate Advisor and a dedicated board member work together on publicity, but your assembly may adjust based on your size and needs.
